THE COLOSSEUM

The Colosseum in Rome is the place to visit at least once in a lifetime. The Flavian Amphitheater is the ancient name, it was built by Vespasiano in the 72 a.C. but it was inaugurated from Tito in the 80 d.C. and it is found in the archaeological heart of Rome. BASILICA of SAINT PETER and VATICAN MUSEUM

Piazza San Pietro, dominated by the majestic Basilica of San Pietro, ows its characteristic elliptical shape sorrounded by the imposing colonnade to the work of Gian Lorenzo Bernini, which welcomes millions of pilgrims and tourists from all over the world, in a symbolic embrace every year. VILLA ADRIANA

Built between 118 and 138 a.C. by Adriano (Publius Aelius Hadrianus), probably born in Italica, near Seville, on 24 January 76 a.C. adopted by Traiano, his father's cousin, succeeded him in the empire in 117 a.C.
